Handkerchief dress

Flirty and fluttery
If you lift a handkerchief in the middle with two fingers, you get the silhouette from which the handkerchief dress gets its name. A dress whose hem has one or more sharp points. The classic handkerchief cut has four loosely falling V's. The 'handkerchief hem' trend is in fashion every few years. Most recently, the asymmetric hemline has been popping up in boho outfits. Handkerchief dresses are often fitted with a fuller skirt, creating a flattering hourglass silhouette, and often feature – preferably exuberant – scarf prints. The points at the bottom create a flowy effect, making this fluttery dress perfect for dancing and flirting at a beach party or festival.
