The 2-in-1 dress consists of two parts that are attached together, making it look like you are wearing a top and a skirt. The disadvantage is that only one combination is possible, in contrast to a loose skirt with which you can vary endlessly. Yet the dress is immensely popular. Is it perhaps a dress for lazy women? A ready-made set that hits you quickly, but that looks like you've tried really hard? What may also play a role is that this type of dress is much more comfortable than a loose blouse that you tuck into a pencil skirt. It's all very confusing for men: they finally know the difference between a dress and a skirt, the misleading 2-in-1 dress throws a spanner in the works.
