Ear cuffs are earrings that you clip around the ear, instead of with a plug through the earlobe. Usually you only wear such an ear cuff on one side, halfway up the ear or slightly higher. You see them nowadays in all kinds of forms: from simple rings to huge statement pieces. No need to shoots additional holes, as most ear cuffs are clip-ons. Ilse DeLange wore ear cuffs of Australian jewelry designer Ryan Storer during the Eurovision song contest in 2014. And royals like Queen Máxima have already been spotted with this earring trend. Proof that this striking earring has left its punk image behind.
