Symbol of the seventies
With its tightened waist and deep cleavage, the wrap dress has become a true fashion classic. Stylish yet easy, comfortable and flattering for every figure. Diana von Fürstenberg brought the wrap dress to women in the 1970s, although it was undoubtedly there much earlier. Her simple yet iconic design with the signature prints became a symbol of the seventies. The British fashion brand Issa London has also made the wrap dress a trademark and none other than Kate Middleton is a fan: in 2010 she announced her engagement to Prince William in a shiny copy of royal blue silk jersey.
